NAME OF THE MURAL:
THE DOORS OF PERCEPTION
This mural features Jim Morrison at the center of an explosion of colors, with the phrase "If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, Infinite" above him, taken from William Blake and immortalized by Aldous Huxley. This phrase inspired the band's name, The Doors.

The intense and fluid colors surrounding Morrison are inspired by Huxley's writings, in which he described how hallucinogenic substances transformed the perception of art and colors, making them more vivid, profound, and meaningful.

The composition captures the essence of the mental and spiritual journey that Morrison and his band, The Doors, sought to explore in their music, evoking a sense of expanded consciousness and revealing a purer, infinite reality.
All of Argensud's murals are compositions created from texts, phrases, poems, drawings, and paintings by different artists, combined into a digital collage, and then painted with brushes and synthetic enamel on the walls.
